Busan
Laura lives in Busan after moving from Spain with her family. The academy is outside the city. Her love of K-pop begins with friends, favourite songs and a school fan club.
Seoul
The first story includes Gimpo Airport, Myeong-dong and the Gocheok Sky Dome, where the fictional World K-pop Assemble takes place. The sequel also features the Han River and Rolling Hall.
The world of a fan
Lightsticks, photocards, covers and choreography are part of the characters’ lives. Food also appears, including ramyon, tteokbokki and hotteok. These details accompany the adventure rather than turning it into a travel guide.
